Butterscotch Blondies

When you need a little canna snack, but you don’t want to spend so much time in the kitchen, this is the sweet designed for you. Blondies are brownies that carry all the same satisfying feels: simple to make and yummy to everyone, but they allow room for more flavor variations. Here, they take the form of butterscotch, a flavor usually associated with candy but adapts readily to cannabis.

Butterscotch Blondies Recipe:

Prep time: 10 minutes

Bake Time: 20 minutes

Yield: 9 servings

Equipment Needed:  

  • 1 8×8″ cake pan
  • Parchment paper
  • 1 heatproof bowl
  • 1 spoon

Ingredients Needed:

  • 4 Tbsp Cannabutter , melted
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 egg, room temperature
  • 1 Tbsp whisky/scotch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Line your pan with parchment paper. This will make it easier to remove the blondies.
  3. In a bowl, mix the melted butter with the sugar.
  4. Mix in the egg and whisky until homogenous.
  5. Mix in the salt, baking powder, and flour.
  6. Add in the nuts.
  7. Spread into an even layer in the parchment-lined pan.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes.

These are delicious warm with a scoop of ice cream on top!
